Mark H. Jackson

Mark Jackson joined Ravid Law Group in 2016. Mr. Jackson’s practice focuses on real estate transactions, with an emphasis on the sale, acquisition, and lease of commercial real estate. In the context of sales and acquisitions, Mr. Jackson represents buyers and sellers by drafting and negotiating purchase and sale agreements, as well as other documents necessary to facilitate and close transactions. With regard to leasing, Mr. Jackson represents landlords and tenants by drafting and negotiating retail, office, and industrial lease agreements, amendments, work letters, and other related documents and contracts. In all types of real estate transactions, he has extensive experience assisting clients, who range from Fortune 100 companies to start-up businesses, throughout the life of a transaction—from advising clients in the initial deal formation stage, to conducting extensive due diligence including resolving complex title issues, to drafting ancillary agreements, and to successfully closing the deal.

Mr. Jackson also has experience counseling clients regarding general business matters, including entity selection and formation, corporate governance and compliance, entity taxation, securities regulation, and operational matters. He has represented an array of clients in the negotiation of commercial transactions and contracts relating to mergers, conversation, and asset and stock acquisitions and sale.

Education
Mr. Jackson received his J.D. from Vanderbilt University Law School in 2010. He earned a B.A. in Political Science with Departmental Honors, Magna Cum Laude, in 2004 from the University of Southern California, where he was a Presidential Scholar.
